While the MICHELIN Guide annual distinctions will only be revealed at their annual ceremony, restaurants will be added to the MICHELIN guide throughout the year. The latest MICHELIN Guide has added 4 new recommended venues, taking the total to 212 recommended restaurants in Hong Kong.
Separately, the recent eighth edition of The Best Chef Awards gave recognition to 100 chefs from all over the world and provided a platform to showcase the talent and culinary contributions to the respective countries. Similar to MICHELIN star ratings, chefs were categorised into knife tiers. 16 local chefs in Hong Kong earned knife rankings of different distinctions in the prestigious awards this year.
