Throughout 2017, Hong Kong will offer a varied calendar of events, which blend East and West, traditional and modern. With everything from Chinese New Year celebrations to sports tournaments, Hong Kong’s array of events will add a unique experience to any trip.

To celebrate the Year of Rooster, Hong Kong will once again stage the Cathay Pacific International Chinese New Year Night Parade, a highly received entertainment event by international visitors, on the first day of Lunar New Year (28 January 2017) in Tsim Sha Tsui.

March sees the return of Arts Month, with a plethora of events including:

April sees an entirely different type of event in Hong Kong with the Rugby Sevens, one of the biggest rugby events on the international sporting calendar, which takes place from 7-9 April.

One of the world’s greatest parties, the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Carnival, takes place from 2nd-7th June. Every year, boats, beers and cheers draw hundreds of thousands of revellers and spectators to stunning Victoria Harbour.

With other events next year including the Hong Kong Cyclothon in October, the four day Wine & Dine Festival in November and of course the New Year Countdown in December, Hong Kong has an event to suit every taste!
