Dusit Thani Hua Hin Partners with Blue Carbon Society and Bang Taboon’s Fishermen to Combat Ocean Pollution

Category: News Stories

At Dusit Thani Hua Hin, sustainability is at the heart of what we do. We are proud to announce our latest initiative in partnership with the Blue Carbon Society and the Bang Taboon fishermen village, working together to tackle ocean pollution and protect marine life.
Through this collaboration, we are collecting ghost nets — abandoned fishing nets that pose a serious threat to marine ecosystems—and transforming them into Fishing Net Bag Hero. These eco-friendly bags will replace plastic bags during our daily beach clean-ups, further reinforcing our commitment to reducing plastic waste.
This meaningful project is part of Dusit International’s Tree of Life Programme, a global initiative dedicated to sustainability and environmental stewardship. By turning harmful waste into a tool for conservation, we are not only cleaning our beaches but also inspiring change within our community.
Join us in making a difference—one net at a time.
